Camp Jambalaya Jubilee

Camp Jambalaya Jubilee is a weekend retreat for the entire family–children with arthritis, siblings, and parents or guardians.

This chronic disease affects the whole family and at camp, we seek to provide a welcoming environment where we can help each individual.

Children and siblings (up to 18) participate in age-appropriate camp activities. Parents attend small group sessions with top rheumatologists from around the country and family therapists.

Apply for the Kayla forest memorial scholarship

Each year at Camp Jambalaya Jubilee, a college scholarship is awarded in memory of a former camper, Kayla Foret, of Houma, Louisiana.

Kayla passed away in 2001, but her warm smile and welcoming spirit have not been forgotten by her friends at the Jambalaya Jubilee. She was a true testament to the power of courage and we know she is proud of our graduating seniors.

With the support of her parents, Lynn and Ricky Foret, sister, Tiffany, and other close friends, the Kayla Foret Memorial Scholarship was established in 2002.
